How it works

How our equipment delivery works

Setting up a delivery takes one phone call or a few minutes on our booking page. Here is what to expect, from the first call to the final pickup.

  1. 1

    Choose your equipment

Book online or call the counter and tell us about the job. Not sure which machine you need? Describe the work and our team will point you to the right size and type.

  2. 2

    Tell us where and when

We'll ask for the delivery address, the day and time that work for you, and a contact person on site. Mention anything that affects access, like a narrow driveway, a locked gate, a loading dock or a street with no room to park.

  3. 3

    We bring it to you

One of our trucks delivers the equipment and drops it off at the spot you agreed on. If you have questions about running it, our team is happy to walk you through the basics.

  4. 4

    We pick it up

When the job is done, call us to schedule the pickup. Need it a little longer? Let us know before the rental period ends and we'll extend it if the unit is free.

Before you book

Delivery fees and lead times

How delivery is priced

Delivery is quoted based on what you're renting and how far your site is from our yard in LaSalle. A plate compactor going to Verdun costs less to bring out than an excavator going to Pointe-Claire.

Call us or mention delivery when you book and we'll give you the price. Sending several machines to the same site? Ask about bringing them out together.

How much notice we need

The more notice, the better. From spring through the end of summer, mini excavators, skid steers and lifts are in high demand, and booking a few days ahead gives you the best chance of getting the exact unit and time window you want.

Need something today or tomorrow? Call the counter. We'll check what's in the yard and when the next truck is available.

Prefer to pick it up yourself?

That works too. Our counter at 7360 Boulevard Newman in LaSalle opens at 6 AM, Monday to Friday, so you can be loaded up and on site early.

For larger machines, make sure your truck and trailer are rated for the weight. We can tell you the weight of any unit before you come in.

FAQs

Equipment delivery questions

Do you deliver rental equipment anywhere in Montreal?

Yes. Our trucks deliver across the island of Montreal, from LaSalle and Lachine to the West Island, downtown and the east end. We also deliver to many areas just off the island. If you're not sure about your address, call us at (514) 363-4426 and we'll confirm.

How much does equipment delivery cost?

The delivery price depends on the equipment and the distance between our yard in LaSalle and your site. Call us or mention delivery when you book and we'll quote it for you. If several machines are going to the same site, ask about bringing them out together.

How far in advance should I book delivery?

As early as you can, especially between spring and late summer when excavators, skid steers and lifts are busy. If you need something on short notice, call the counter and we'll check what's available and when a truck can get to you.

Can I book online and have the equipment delivered?

Yes. Book your equipment through our online catalog and let us know you need delivery, or call the counter and we'll set everything up for you.

What equipment can you deliver?

We deliver heavy equipment like forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, mini excavators, skid steers and loaders, along with smaller equipment such as compactors, generators, heaters, scaffolding and pumps. If you're unsure about a specific item, ask when you book.

Does someone need to be on site when the equipment arrives?

We recommend it. Having someone there means the equipment ends up exactly where you want it, and you can look it over before our driver leaves. If no one can be on site, let us know when you book so we can plan the drop-off.

Can I pick up the equipment myself?

Yes. Our counter at 7360 Boulevard Newman in LaSalle is open Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 4 PM. Make sure your vehicle and trailer are rated for the load before you come in.

Do you rent by the day, week or month?

Yes, all three. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are listed for every item in our catalog, and longer rentals cost less per day.

What happens when my rental is over?

Call us to book the pickup and we'll send a truck to collect the equipment. If the job is running long, call before the rental ends and we'll extend it if the unit is available.

Need equipment on your site?

Book online in a few minutes or call the counter and we'll take care of the delivery.
